These 150 Gallon Emergency Water Tanks secure a family of 4 for 37 days, in case of emergency!  The United States CDC recommends you store at least one gallon of drinking water per person, per day and that you store at minimum a 3-day supply. This minimum recommendation doesn't allot much for hygiene. Therefore most households feel the minimum recommendation is not a safe enough plan. Tank Assembly Instructions:

The Lead-Free Ball Valve Assembly and Lead-Free Water Hose Spigot ship inside the tank to eliminate the risk of shipping damage. Remove the fittings and wrap all threaded connections with Teflon Tape. When applying Teflon Tape, apply it against the grain of the threads. Only wrap the connection 2-3 revolutions. Too much Teflon tape can put unnecessary pressure on the tank fittings. It's not a bad idea to give the inside of your tank a quick rinse with your water hose prior to filling as plastic shavings could be in the bottom from the factory installed tank fittings.
