The 4 inch Leaf Eater Advanced is the next generation Rain Head, featuring the new patented Clean Shield (single screen) technology and VH Pivot outlet. The 4 inch Leaf Eater Advanced Rain Head prevents debris from entering the Rainwater Harvesting system, improves water quality and reduces tank maintenance. The single screen incorporates Clean Shield technology which deflects leaves and debris away from the flow of water. This minimizes maintenance and enhances catchment efficiency. This Rain Head incorporates a VH Pivot outlet that swivels to suit vertical or horizontal downpipes. The Leaf Eater Advanced can also be used as a debris removing device even when rainwater is not being collected.

The Leaf Eater Advanced's compact size allows it to fit into small spaces. Its swivelling base allows even more installation flexibility, allowing you to mount it easily to horizontal or vertical pipes. Like all Gutter Debris Separators, it improves your water quality by filtering out leaves and debris with its fine mesh screen.
The Leaf Eater Advanced filters out debris before it has the chance to make it to your tank screen. This allows your tank screen to do its primary job: keep mosquitoes, other insects, and pests out of your rainwater tank! The Leaf Eater Advanced adapts to fit 3" or 4" Schedule 40 PVC Pipe.
Be sure to install your Leaf Eater Advanced at a higher elevation than the inlet of your rainwater system. This comes into play when building a wet-conveyance system, and you want your Leaf Eater to be installed low enough to access the screen for maintenance.
